About this library

Documents I write about areas I want to understand. The notes below say how a draft is marked and where the sources live.

Purpose

Knowledge Hub is a static reading room for research notes. It has no accounts and no database. The notes are files in this repository. A build turns them into HTML, a sitemap, and an RSS feed. Search stays in the browser.

An entry is one claim you might want to find again. It has a title, a description, an area, tags, the day it was published, the day it was last changed, at least one source, and a confidence level. Related notes are optional. A verification paragraph is optional, and worth writing whenever the level alone would hide a limit.

Drafted with AI

Articles here may be generated or revised with AI. An AI draft can sound finished and still misstate a page, invent a number, or lean on a source that has since been archived.

Say so in the verification line when it is true. Keep the source list accurate enough that a reader can open the page the claim depends on. The published date stays put when you correct a note. Change the updated date, so the history of the claim is still visible.

Verification

Every note carries one of four levels.

Verified means the claim was checked against the cited sources and the note is not hiding a larger uncertainty.

Provisional means the sources support the shape of the claim, with a limit you should read before acting on it.

Contested means the sources disagree, or a later source walks back an earlier one.

Open means the note is a question, a design, or a study guide that has not been measured.

This site does not try to prove that a note is true. It tries to make the check obvious: date, area, sources, a status, and a sentence about what the note is not. An HTML study page can keep its own layout. It still gets a status, a source list, and a place in the index.
